
Poet Nasrin Khan, whose full name is Nasrin Akter Khanam, is a dedicated and respected figure in the field of Bangla literature. She was born in Netrokona district and is currently residing permanently in Dhaka. From an early age, she developed a deep passion for writing, which gradually established her as a recognized name in the literary world.
She comes from a highly respectable family background. Her father, Habibur Rahman Khan Pathan, was a retired headmaster of Shikdar Hat High School. Growing up in an educated and disciplined environment had a profound influence on her thoughts and creative pursuits.
Nasrin Khan began her literary journey through a literary organization called “Onupras.” Alongside her passion for literature, she was engaged in the teaching profession from 1995 to 2008 in various institutions. Despite her professional commitments, she consistently continued her literary practice and eventually established herself as a strong and impactful writer.
In her personal life, she is the spouse of Dr. Mohammad Raju Ahmed, a BCS cadre officer who is currently serving as a Deputy Secretary. They have two children: their elder son, Nasif Ahmed Nafi, is studying Engineering in Australia, and their daughter, Naushin Nawal Adrita, is currently pursuing her university education.
At present, Nasrin Khan regularly writes stories and poems for various daily and weekly newspapers, as well as for numerous national and international platforms. Her writings reflect deep human emotions, social realities, and strong moral values.
