When a new model page shows $0.00, readers understandably ask whether the model is free. For Muse Spark 1.1, the responsible answer is: no published per-token API price was found, so $0.00 is not a price claim.

Meta announced a public preview for its Model API, but our source review found no vendor-published per-token pricing for Muse Spark. An Artificial Analysis zero display is a placeholder for missing price data, not a declaration that tokens cost nothing. That is a small distinction with large consequences for anyone budgeting an agent.

There is also an availability limit: the evidence pack identifies Muse Spark 1.1 as US-only. A model cannot be a default choice for a global product if most of the team or user base cannot reproduce the route. Availability is not an afterthought; it is part of the model specification.

Our own 3D build provides a reason to keep watching Muse. It completed a four-turn scene in 360 seconds, adopted a revolved profile when given modelling guidance, and produced a visually striking pumpkin head. It also used 28,506 recorded reasoning tokens and grew its mesh count substantially. Those observations make the absence of a public price more consequential, not less.

Until a vendor price is published, do not build a cost comparison around Muse. Label the unknown as unknown. Test access, completion, and quality where the model is actually available. And keep a routing fallback for unavailable regions or changing preview terms.

This is not a criticism of the model. It is a basic editorial rule for fast-moving AI models: a missing number should not become a convenient number just because a launch page is exciting.
