Discussion Meeting and Cultural Program Held on the Occasion of World Mother’s Day 2026

On the occasion of World Mother’s Day 2026, a discussion meeting and cultural program was organized in Khilgaon, Dhaka by the Janata Cultural Council and a voluntary organization. The event was held on Sunday (May 10) at 5:00 PM at the organization’s office in Khilgaon.
The chief guest of the program was Rukhsana Amin Surma. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of children’s responsibilities, love, and respect toward mothers.
The main discussant was Kumar D. Ujjwal. He stated that mothers play an immense role in building family values and humanitarian awareness in society.
The program was chaired by Badsha Uddin Mintu. The organizers said that the event was arranged to highlight the significance of Mother’s Day, express respect and love for mothers, and raise social awareness through cultural activities.
Alongside the discussion meeting, an enjoyable cultural program was also held, with participation from people of different professions and backgrounds. The speakers called upon everyone to develop love, respect, and a sense of responsibility toward mothers.
