Italian yard Sanlorenzo remains one of the industry’s most prolific superyacht builders to date. With more than 60 years of expertise, this leading builder specialises in constructing resin-infused fibreglass, aluminium and steel yachts measuring between 23 and 72 metres. Gaining international attention with the launch of its first fibreglass hull in 1985, Sanlorenzo has continued to expand its offering over the years to include sporty motor yachts, explorer yachts and the ‘world’s first’ asymmetric yacht.  A self-proclaimed boutique yacht firm, Sanlorenzo builds a limited number of made-to-measure yachts each year. Sanlorenzo SL102

Developed together with Zuccon International Studio, the SL102 is said to be the industry’s first asymmetric superyacht. Measuring 31.10 metres in length, with a beam of 7.10 metres, her innovative design reimagines the traditional layout of a yacht. Offering enhanced interior space and cleverly thought out exterior spaces, the ‘half-wide-body’ design includes a full-width salon to port and a side deck only on the starboard side of the main deck. Resulting in an additional 25 square metres of living space, the salon features large windows and sliding doors that open to the starboard side deck. Able to accommodate up to ten guests in five spaciously appointed ensuite cabins, this includes a full-beam master cabin on the main deck, two VIP cabins and two configurable cabins on the lower deck. Owners can also opt for another layout, with the master cabin on the lower deck. Both layouts include three crew cabins and a crew lounge space. With a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots, this is the perfect motor yacht for island hopping.

Sanlorenzo SX88

The first yacht in Sanlorenzo’s new series of crossover yachts, the SX88 is a mesh of its sophisticated fibreglass flybridge models and the rugged, steel explorer models. Measuring 26.7 metres in length, with a beam of 7.20 metres, the SX88 features striking, bold exterior lines that ensure it stands out from the rest. Designed to offer owners the best of both worlds, stand-out features include an extensive swimming platform that can serve as a beach club and sports utility space. Big enough to dock a 4.5-metre tender and water toys while the yacht is underway, it is the perfect space for entertaining and relaxing. In addition, the helm station is located under the hardtop on the flybridge, which can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned thanks to the automatic side windows. With accommodation for up to eight guests in four ensuite cabins, this includes a full-beam master cabin, two double and one convertible. Her flexible cabin layout makes her ideal for hosting families and friends, who will be expectedly looked after by a crew of three.

Sanlorenzo 62Steel

The 62Steel superyacht mixes timeless design with technological advancements and an innovative layout. Measuring 61.5 metres, the 62Steel Sanlorenzo superyacht spans five decks and offers an impressive interior volume of 1.200GT. The elegant exterior lines are balanced by her well-thought interior design. The new layout sees the wheelhouse relocated to an additional deck, freeing up the upper deck for the owner’s exclusive use. The extensive owner’s apartment spans 210 square metres and includes a king-sized bedroom, a private gym, two bathrooms, a separate walk-in dressing room, and a private terrace with a spa pool and outdoor lounge area. The interior layout options for the 62Steel include a five or six stateroom arrangement on the main deck for up to12 guests, with room for a crew of 13 on the lower deck. Common guest areas, including the dining room and the salon, are also situated on the main deck. Her large beach club, located at the aft end of the lower deck, measures a total of 117 square metres – perfect for relaxing and entertaining.
