Poet Moriom Rahman

Poet Introduction*

Poet Moriom Rahman was born on January 10, 1979 in a noble family in Bogra district.
She currently lives permanently in Dhaka.

She has been interested in culture from her family since childhood. Her father is a professor. (Bangla Department) She learned culture from her father since childhood.

She graduated from Azizul Haque College, Bogra. She did her MA in History from Dhaka University.
She is currently working in a private institution.

She has been associated with writing for a long time.

Her writings have been published in various newspapers, magazines and books. She has several joint poetry collections.

She also has 4 solo poetry collections. Currently, three more books are in the works, which will be unveiled at the 2026 Book Fair. She is working with various literary organizations in various positions.

In addition to writing, he is a trained recitation artist.
From 2009 to 2016, he was regularly engaged in various recitation workshops and organizations from Dhaka University’s TSC.
In 2014, he won first place in Dhaka Division in a Bangladesh-wide poetry recitation competition and gained much fame and recognition.
There are about 310 audios of his recitations.
He has won many honorary awards for recitation.
