Planets and Tarot

Date:

When you consider the relationships between the planets and the other elements, it makes sense that the Sun would dominate Leo and that the Strength card would serve as their tarot card. The Sun is a huge, ferocious ball of fire, so it seems to reason that it represents the fire sign. Leo, the fixed fire sign of the group, is the personification of dependability, firmness, loyalty, stubbornness, and stability, and the Sun won’t move for a very long time (I hope!).

The Strength card, which is more about emotional and inner strength than any form of physical strength, depicts this unwavering steadiness in nature. Leos prefer to be recognised, much as the sun burns brilliantly and likes to be seen (you can’t truly miss it unless you shield yourself from it). Leos enjoy being admired and being seen as attractive. As the zodiac sign with the greatest emphasis on beauty, this can occasionally make Leos come across as a bit conceited or superficial, especially when it comes to selecting partners and friends. But rest assured that if you have a Leo for a friend, you have a sincere, devoted, and kind friend who will shower you in their light and give you their strength.

When it comes to planetary connotations, the Moon confuses me. It seems logical that the RWS deck’s The Moon card would be the one to symbolize the sign that the Moon rules. The mutable Pisceans are chosen to symbolize the Moon card even though it is a water sign. My initial reaction was that the Moon tarot card is not at all representative of the actual Moon when it dominates Cancer and The Chariot Card since it is very dream-focused and depicts someone who is delaying moving forward on their path because they lack confidence.

Cancer is persistent (thus The Chariot and pressing on like a warrior), very imaginative, devoted, and persuasive according to the My Today’s Birthday Horoscope website. All the abilities a skilled charioteer requires to overcome challenges and aid their forces. Cancerians, like all positive water signs, can occasionally be overly sentimental, sensitive, pessimistic, and insecure, which does echo the dread of failure that permeates the Moon card. The physical moon is the ruling planet of Cancer because it is said to cause transient emotional patterns and wells of insecurity in people that are uncontrollable. Cancerians are fiercely loyal, courageous, and not afraid to get into a fight to defend their friends if necessary.

As the planet of communication, Mercury makes sense as Gemini’s representation in The Lovers card. Gemini is a changeable air sign, which means that they tend to be quite cerebral, very introspective, worried, indecisive, and curious, as well as incredibly adaptable and exceptionally loving. When a Gemini gives you their heart, it truly is yours, but only for as long as you take care of it.

Gemini is no fool, and they expect something in return for their friendship and affection. They are fickle and contradictory, and they won’t hesitate to distance themselves from someone they believe is abusing their kindness. The majority of Geminis are excellent communicators and can talk endlessly, but this is only the beginning. In an effort to balance their two sides, they overanalyze and worry excessively, which results in an inner dialogue that is three times louder than what really comes out of their mouths.

What is less clear is the hermit’s relationship to Mercury and the sign of Virgo. How does communication fit into The Hermit’s main theme of introspection? The Hermit has a very different perspective on communication and is far more concerned with education and information sharing with others, as well as communication with one’s inner self. Virgo is a highly analytical sign, but it’s also quite pragmatic and a mutable earth sign, so you can anticipate that analysis to be based on reality and the physical world. As the teachers of the zodiac, Virgos frequently work as journalists and writers. areas where they can communicate their analyses to others through written words. Similar to the hermit, who relies on books and textual resources to obtain the knowledge needed to learn,

On the other hand, because Libra is a cardinal air sign and belongs to the intellectual realm, they are very much in it. It is understandable why Justice is the Libra sign’s tarot card because Libras value harmony (thus the scales as their emblem). Compared to their Earth-loving Taurean stablemates, they approach the Venusian component of love in a more reserved manner. Libras are passionate when they are content in a relationship, and they love to be in a committed relationship. By making sure that all of their connections are fair and balanced, Libras achieve their goal of finding peace and harmony. Along with a penchant for expensive items, Libras are known to have a passion for the arts.

It is simple to identify the trio of Mars, Aries, and the Emperor. Mars is the god of war, Aries is the cardinal fire sign, and the Emperor is a wise man who is firm in his convictions. Mars is also known as the “god of war.” He wants to get his own way and rules with little sympathy. Aries are, by nature, competitive and disapprove of those who find justifications for not attempting to get better. It’s crucial to understand that while this sign is renowned for being impatient, irritable, and aggressive, it can also be brave, determined, and self-assured.
