The 21st century has brought along a wave of new inventions. Following the same track of inventions, the sporting industry has come a long way since the 1960s. It has carved out for itself a niche with the roots so deep that we cannot fathom the decline of the sports industry any time soon.
The reason is based on a subtle difference: other industries have customers, but the sporting industry has fans. Fans are a true asset to the gaming industry. They have the power to keep the industry going. The last few years have witnessed the steady introduction of technology into the world of sports, amplifying fans’ appreciation of games, enhancing athletes’ public profiles, and informing their training methods.
In the following years, the subject of esports made major strides, with the advancement of technology further fueling the gaming competitions. Esports encompasses the competition held among professional video game players. It experienced an exponential surge in popularity, beginning in the 21st century, largely due to the mainstream, live stream, and sponsorships. The term “esports” has claimed its revenue at $1.1 billion in the current decade.
Intending to find some unique entertainment resource for esports, Samuel Kijak came up with the idea of Mazer Gaming in 2014. Mazer Gaming is a professional esports and entertainment organization that has branched into esports with a variety of different games, including Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, Fortnite, Pokemon Go, and much more.
Before deciding on the company’s name, Samuel only thought of the M logo. Later he selected the word ‘Mazer’ for the company, which transformed into ‘Mazer Sniping,’ highlighting the focus on Call of Duty sniping montages they started out with the content side. While the organization was founded in 2014, its names, and logo, were changed to Mazer Gaming by the end of 2017. The organization is responsible for creating championship-winning teams and producing entertaining content for the fans.
While improving their art of gaming, players in the field learn to adapt a better mentality. Players learn skills to be more productive, patient, and confident. Such skillful wealth gained from the prospect of esports can be applied to different aspects of life.
Mazer Gaming is partnering with Gamers Outreach to raise funds for children dealing with ailments and requiring special treatments. Not to mention, the organization has also hosted its first crypto-infused charity tournament, partnering with The Giving Block to raise money for Us4Warriors in crypto donations to host the first Mazer Gaming Gives Back event. It holds Mazer Gaming Gives Back (MGGB) tournament series almost every month. The MGGB series aims to raise money for different charities throughout each stream. The first event was held on “Super Smash Bros.,” a crossover fighting game series published by Nintendo. It was a huge success, totaling over 500 top-tier players signing up 50,000 viewers and raising thousands of dollars.
Mazer Gaming is one of the few esports organizations actively involved in crypto and blockchain. It has a huge list of sponsors and partners supporting the organization’s growth efforts in the industry. What makes this organization so exceptional is its willingness to incorporate crypto in its esports events, which generates tens of thousands of viewers. The organization is a huge believer in Bitcoin and crypto and will continue to incorporate it through donations, payments, and NFTs. Mazer Gaming is making all the right moves to bring an impactful wave in the crypto and gaming industry in the future.
