Kiip Corporation, the operator of the global medical tourism platform ‘iipuda,’ has been officially selected as one of the 100 startups participating in the 8th cohort of the ‘Launchpad Program,’ jointly operated by Google Play and South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
This prestigious recognition highlights Kiip Corporation’s technological expertise and its potential for global growth. The program provides participating startups with vital support such as resources, mentorship, and opportunities for networking, to accelerate innovation and market expansion.
The ‘iipuda’ platform connects foreign users seeking Korean medical services—including plastic surgery, dermatology, and dentistry—with verified domestic medical institutions. It supports four languages: Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), and Simplified Chinese, allowing users to explore clinics and request consultations directly within the app. Since its official launch, iipuda has grown its monthly user base to approximately 10,000 and formed partnerships with 35 domestic medical facilities.
Kiip Corporation plans to leverage the program’s support along with recent investments to enhance its global marketing capabilities and expand local partnerships in key international markets such as Japan, English-speaking countries, Taiwan, and China.
CEO Caleb Park stated, “Thanks to the steadfast support from domestic and international investors from the pre-seed stage through this seed round, we have been able to elevate iipuda’s vision to the next level. We will focus this investment on attracting global users and expanding our partner hospital network to develop a platform that transparently connects Korean healthcare with global consumers.”
Through this selection, Kiip Corporation reaffirms its commitment to becoming the most transparent and reliable platform connecting Korean healthcare providers with global consumers, driving innovation in medical tourism and related industries.
