With a stellar performance from Guru Preetam, Rising Star Royals clinched the title of the Rising Star Cricket League held at Dayalbagh’s Rising Star Cricket Academy on Sunday. The Royals defeated Rising Star Kings by 7 wickets in the final, with Guru Preetam playing a key role in the team’s dominant victory.
Batting first after losing the toss, Rising Star Kings struggled against the disciplined bowling attack of the Royals and were bowled out for just 59 runs. Gurupreetam delivered a match-winning performance with the ball, taking four crucial wickets and putting immense pressure on the opposition.
Chasing the modest target, Rising Star Royals comfortably secured victory with the help of an unbeaten partnership between Harsh Singh and Arpit, who guided their team home in just 18 overs.
The closing ceremony was attended by chief guest Narendra Tomar and BJP councillor Pushpendra Chaudhary, who congratulated both teams and presented trophies and awards to the players.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from four teams and showcased remarkable young cricketing talent from the city. Under the captaincy of Harsh Singh, Rising Star Royals lifted the championship trophy, while Yuvraj Singh-led Rising Star Kings finished as runners-up.
