In the growing movement of youth-led mental health activism in Bangladesh, Talk Hope stands out as a transformative initiative. Founded in 2024, the platform has already reached over 140,000 individuals with emotional support, awareness sessions, and workshops across the country.

One of the standout contributors to this impact is Jannat Rahman Anannia, the Youth Chapter Coordinator for Dhaka Zone. Under her dynamic leadership, Talk Hope’s Dhaka team has conducted mental health and suicide prevention workshops in more than 70 schools and colleges, engaging over 15,000 students. These interactive sessions have created safe spaces for young people to speak openly, learn coping strategies, and dismantle harmful stigma surrounding mental wellbeing.

Her dedication reflects Talk Hope’s commitment to grassroots action — ensuring even suburban and peri-urban youth are not left behind.

Md Faysal Kanan, Co-Founder & Chief Coordinator of Talk Hope, shared:

❝Jannat is one of the finest examples of how youth leadership can truly shift mindsets. Her work in the Dhaka Zone has inspired hundreds of young volunteers and given hope to thousands. At Talk Hope, we believe change starts when one brave voice creates space for many — and that’s what she’s doing.❞

As Talk Hope moves forward, leaders like Jannat continue to prove that empowered youth can build a mentally healthier nation — one conversation at a time.
