Call for Ensuring Justice and Human Security in Bangladesh
“Deshbandhu Remittance Warriors Parliament” Expresses Deep Concern

The Deshbandhu Remittance Warriors Parliament has called for the swift and impartial delivery of justice regarding incidents of child abuse, violence, and human rights violations in Bangladesh. The organization expressed deep concern, stating that even after a recent brutal incident involving a child, the victim’s family appears reluctant or silent about publicly demanding justice, reflecting a disturbing picture of fear and insecurity within society.

In a joint statement, the Founder and Central Convener of the organization, Advocate A.N.M. Isa, and Member Secretary M.A. Rouf stated that the cries of a child or the suffering of an oppressed person can never be ignored. Seeking justice is not a crime; rather, ensuring justice is the responsibility of the state, society, and humanity.

The statement further said that a father is usually the greatest source of protection and justice for a child. However, when a family remains silent due to fear, pressure, or insecurity, it indicates a deep crisis within society.

The organization urged the concerned administration, human rights organizations, media, and conscious citizens to come forward in uncovering the truth behind the incident and to ensure an environment where no family feels afraid or pressured to seek justice.

The concluding part of the statement said:

“We do not seek revenge; we seek justice. Because the absence of justice pushes not only one family but the entire society toward darkness.”

Publicity Secretary Rimon Hossain and President of the Bangladesh Women’s Committee, Lion Shahida Parveen Ratna, also expressed solidarity with this call.
