No idea is a bad idea, but could your marketing strategy be the one that leads a firm to success? Please send an email to brandmarketingcompetition2022@gmail.com with your intent to participate; then, we will provide you with a case study to analyze. To be eligible, submit a 2–3-page word document, double-spaced, to the email provided above, explaining how your proposed strategy will solve a problem in the case study. Once your strategy has been submitted, the campaign will be judged by industry professional David Krenkel, who specializes in brand extension. The winners will be announced by email on September 26th. The last chance to submit any case studies is by Friday September 23rd. This marketing competition will provide a real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising/ marketing strategy for a client in the future.
How to enter the competition

- All requirements are mandatory to enter.
- Attach the word document with your proposed strategy as well as your name, email, phone number, and date of birth.
- Submitting multiple entries will disqualify you from the competition.
- Fall entries are due by September 23rd.
Monetary awards
Monetary awards for the marketing competition include 1st place-$150. 2nd place- $50. 3rd place- $25.
Judging criteria
- Primary and secondary research 30%
- The strategy itself (website, organic or paid strategy, etc.) 30%
- Assessment (budgeting, competitor assessment) 30%
- Format 10%
