The City of Mombasa, Kenya has been in the throes of a protracted reconstruction project that commenced in earnest in 2010. The objective behind this mammoth undertaking is to revive the city and make it more livable for its citizens. Faisal Town is a one million sq ft mixed-use development in Al Hamra, Bahrain. Zedem International was awarded the contract to develop Faisal Town in December of 2015 and has been working on the development since then.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of a medical center which is expected to be completed in 2020. The medical center will have a capacity of 800 patients and will include an urgent care facility, pharmacy, diagnostic labs and a rehabilitation center. There are also plans for a fitness center and a supermarket inside the medical center.

The second phase of the project includes the construction of 350 residential units which are expected to be finished by 2021. The third phase of the project includes the construction of 280 hotel rooms which are expected to be finished by 2022.
