Indonesia’s Asih Sasami Indonesia Foundation, a book on disabled people has published three articles by Md. Mafidul Islam Sarkar, Pirgacha Upazila Correspondent of Dainik Naya Digante, Rangpur, and Rangpur District Correspondent of Daily Sun. The book features writings by 88 poets, writers, and journalists from all over the world. The book’s editor and president of Asih Sasami Indonesia Foundation, Rini Valentina, said that this collection was born from the reflection of disabled people, who are often hidden by their parents.
They even sometimes suffer unfair treatment. Their presence is seen as a hardship and a shameful nuisance. But not for parents who have faith and love for God and hope. Because God never makes a mistake in presenting many different people with the same goal: disabled children are the fulfillment of true love in the world.
As the President of the Asih Sasami Indonesia Foundation and a global literacy motivator, I came up with the idea of this collection so that people would become aware that, until we are truly able to humanize people, infinite love will touch humanity.
