Why ChatGPT Might be Ruining Your Career Before It Gets Started
If you haven’t been living under a rock for the last couple months, there’s a good chance you’ve consumed some flashy articles with headlines such as “How I Make $XXX,XXX a Month with ChatGPT” or “How to Use ChatGPT to Automate X”.
Okay, I get it. We all want to have some sort of automated process of generating money. It sounds awfully tempting to setup a system where we can have a robot fulfill all our exhaustive tasks. Utilizing ChatGPT for five minutes a week to script out that next automated YouTube video or Medium article for effortless revenue feels like a no brainer; however, this is terribly wrong.
Call me a doomer, but I think this concept of AI content generation is a dangerous one.
I don’t know about you, but I believe that in most cases, a content creator’s job is to be a creative. It is to be an independent thinker with interesting ideas.

With the implementation of ChatGPT, all creativity is effectively lost.
It is a spit in the face of the consumer.
If I read another article which ends with a cute statement like “oh can you believe this whole article was generated by AI?”, I might lose my mind.
To me, this is a blatant sign of a lack of appreciation for the consumer. To ignore this enrichening creative process for the pursuit of hyper-efficiency in content production is going to be incredibly damaging to personal brands.
I think that Rick Rubin sums up this idea incredibly well in his latest novel titled The Creative Act: A Way of Being where he writes:
Flaws are human, and the attraction of art is the humanity held in it. If we were machinelike, the art wouldn’t resonate. It would be soulless.
With this, I am begging you. Deploy empathy today. Care so deeply about the consumer that you would not exploit them with unoriginal, unintentional content.
I am all for automating meaningless practices, but be careful. Do not blur the lines.
Protect your brand with authenticity.
Thank you for the good writeup. It if truth be told used to be a amusement account it.

Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the
internet the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing
without having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
