Important dates for the CAT 2021 exam
The CAT 2021 is scheduled for November this year. This year, the number of applicants is believed to increase. With no travel restrictions, the total attendance turnout in 2021 will go much higher than the previous year. Some important dates related to the CAT 2021 exam are-
- The CAT 2021 exam will take place on 28th November 2021 (Sunday).
- The exam will be conducted in three time slots.
- The last date to fill the application form for CAT 2021 was 22nd September.
- The admit card for CAT 2021 exam will be made available on 27th October.
- The last date to save the CAt exam admit cards from the online portal will be 28th November 2021.
- The expected date for the results of the CAT 2021 exam is 5th January 2022.
Exam pattern of CAT 2021 exam
The exam pattern for CAT 2021 exam this year will not follow last year’s pattern but will go on as before. There will be 64 to 68 questions in a set, and students will get a time of 120 minutes to complete the exam.
The CAT 2021 exam comes into three sections consisting of Quantitative ability, DILR, and VARC. Students can solve previous year’s question papers from 2015 onwards to get a better idea.
There will be a negative marking of 70 percent for each multiple-choice question.
