What is “Just Pray NO!” all about?
I have an opportunity to inform you about a great upcoming event that will take place during the weekend of April 18 – 19, 2020: The 30th Annual “Just Pray No!” to Drugs Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting.
When was this idea formed?
Since April 7th, 1991 “Just Pray NO!” has united Christians around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of those bound by alcoholism, drug addiction and other life controlling compulsions.
What is the main focus?
Drug addiction is a chronically relapsing disorder that has been characterized by the compulsive use of addictive substances despite adverse consequences to the individual and society. Addiction to drugs and alcohol is increasingly becoming a worldwide trend in lifestyle that is prevalent in rich and poor countries alike. Addiction to alcohol, drugs and cigarette smoking is now regarded as a major public health problem.
When is your next event happening?
The upcoming event will not only be about praying for the release of those bound by substance abuse but also for people to be delivered from pornography, gambling, obesity and smoking. “Just Pray NO!” Ltd. seeks individuals and groups that are willing to commit to pray weekly on behalf of the addicted and their families, and then join with multitudes of other committed Christians from around the world in prayer and fasting April 18 – 19, 2020.
