“Welfare Council Bangladesh” distributed Eid gifts to the poor and helpless at its central office on Wednesday afternoon on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
Chaired by the President of the Central Executive Committee of the Welfare Council, Meteorologist Mirza Nilufar Jahan, and moderated by the General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the organization, Zahir Uddin Mobu, the event was addressed by the Senior Vice President of the Central Executive Committee, Professor Taj Farzana Afroz Sharmin, members Nilufa Ahsan, Sifat Hossain Promum. The Eid gifts were 2 packets of Lachcha Semai, 1 packet of Vermicelli Semai, 1 kg of Kalijira rice, 250 grams of dates, 500 grams of sugar, 100 grams of milk powder and 500 ml of soybean oil.
