Dubai, United Arab Emirates – December 4, 2025 – The landscape of entrepreneurship in the UAE continues to diversify, with local business leaders moving from traditional sectors into digital innovation. Mohamed Obaid Alzaabi, a serial entrepreneur and current CEO of Pibu and Black Askor, has announced the expansion of his ventures with the launch of the professional networking platform, Anceega.

Born in 1990, Alzaabi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Khorfakkan. His career trajectory began in the infrastructure sector in 2017, when he founded Al Nahda Urban Construction and Al Nahda General Trading. Unlike many who remain in a single industry, Alzaabi diversified early, establishing Easy Way Travel & Tourism and the e-commerce site Zucchini, reflecting a shift towards service-oriented business models.

Currently, Alzaabi’s focus has shifted towards the intersection of lifestyle and technology. In the retail and hospitality sector, he manages the Pibu restaurant chain and the luxury perfume brand Black Askor.

However, his most recent venture, Anceega, represents a significant pivot into the tech industry. As reported by regional media outlets, Anceega aims to function as a trusted Arab-centric alternative to global professional networks, focusing on verifying competencies to bridge the gap between employers and talent in the Middle East.

Beyond his corporate activities, Alzaabi maintains an active role in public service and community development. He serves as a member of the Government Communication team at the UAE Sports for All Federation and is a member of the Recovering Club in Khorfakkan.

Alzaabi is also a vocal advocate for youth entrepreneurship. In recent editorials published in Egyptian media, including Al Nahar, he has argued against the reliance on traditional employment, encouraging young professionals to pursue independent business ventures to support the regional economy.
