Top 5 Reason Californians are Moving to Tempe

If you are a young couple with or without children, you have probably asked yourself several times if California is all it’s cracked up to be. Sure, the ocean is just a short drive away, but when the workday is done, you have little left after paying the bills, buying food, and getting things for your kids. Forget about getting a decent sized house unless you are a millionaire. It is time to move somewhere else with a ton of job options and a lower cost of living. That somewhere is Tempe, Arizona.

Great Neighborhoods at Great Prices:

Housing costs in Tempe are not as expensive as in other areas of the Phoenix Valley. Zillow indicates that the average median home value in this Phoenix suburb is roughly $319.975, making Tempe eminently affordable. You’ll find all types of housing here, from small condos/townhomes, starter homes as well as a variety of single-family homes.  Check out some of the options Tempe has to have by clicking on one of the following communities/areas: ASU, Broadway Palms, Chelsea Manor, and Circle G Ranches.

Accessible Public Transportation:

Yes, public transportation DOES exist. The Metro light rail runs down Apache Boulevard and through the Arizona State University Campus to downtown Phoenix makes it easy to access jobs without using your car. Cultural Hub:

ASU is the town’s lifeblood, bringing with it college sports and plenty of entertainment areas. Downtown Tempe has a bustling night with clubs like El Hefe, The Handlebar, Bar Louie, and Cotton and Copper just to name a few.  In addition to a ton of nightlife options, Tempe also has a variety of great restaurants that are popular with students, locals, and visitors including Four Peaks, Postino Annex, La Bocca Urban Pizzeria, and The Chuck Box which is great for burgers. Plus, you can always find some kind of festival nearby.
