The Best Gaming Chairs

There’s a new entry in our guide to the best gaming chairs, and it’s a popular one. The new Softweave Omega Softweave chair is a pleasure to park your back on, and it sits pretty well right now as our # 1 recommendation for gaming chairs. Having something comfortable to sit on – a chair that supports your back and feels comfortable to do long sessions – is essential, but it’s often an afterthought in most gaming setups. While falling into a new chair or something like that can be daunting, the benefits far outweigh the costs … if you get something really good.

When looking for the best gaming chair, there are a few things to consider. What kind of support do you want? Soft or firm? If you want to use the chair for both work and play, the company can be a good way as it offers better posture support. Soft is best suited for pure gaming and long gaming sessions. Also checkout the most comfortable gaming chairs which are totally comfy and cozy for gamers. Do you also want adjustable armrests to help you operate your keyboard or hold the controller? Most gaming chairs have this as standard, but some don’t. And finally – is the chair well made and easy to build? It’s a big factor. All of the chairs that we recommend have been tested by our team of experts, and we’ve put them together, so we’ve taken this practical aspect into account.

1. Secretlab Omega Soft Fabric

The best available gaming chair with super soft fabric cover

Dimensions: 68 x 70 x 126-136 cm | Seat height: 126-136 cm

Secretlab has improved its already excellent Omega chair by adding its proprietary Softweave fabric, a soft, soft fabric that makes the seat look like a real luxury product. It adds to an already big office/game chair design that is very supportive but not aggressive like that, so if you want to sit back and sit back and relax while scaring Netflix shows, the chair will adjust accordingly.

It’s a remarkably adjustable model across the board. Together with the adjustable backrest, you can also tilt the entire chair to adjust things like the seat height (which can be adjusted separately) and the angle and to move or move the armrests to your elbows. The whole package can be adapted to practically anybody to an incredible extent and offers the perfect line between giving and strength so that you can sit comfortably even during marathon sessions.

Best for … It’s just the best all-round gaming chair you can buy

2. GT Omega Pro Racing office chair

The best gaming chair for comfort and price

Dimensions: 68 cm x 70 cm x 1.3 m | Seat height: 124-132 cm

Quick to build (you should be able to sit within 25 minutes of unboxing) and sturdy, this is a compact and efficient gaming chair. It matches the same type of floor profile as an ordinary office chair (hence probably the name). It is a very focused sitting experience as the shape of the seat and back shape is very supportive. Although you can remove the lumbar pillow to make things a little more relaxed. However, it tends to be practically flat and you can adjust the seat angle and pressure, as well as armrest angle, separation and height, if you can’t get comfortable with everything, the chairs may not be for you. However, it is a very slim fit and shaped for a thinner frame that deserves attention.

Best for … A high level of support and for smaller people.

3. AK Racing Core Series EX gaming chair

Robust and durable

Dimensions: 56 x 54 x 14.2 cm | Seat height: 126-135 cm

Strong metal frame Durable foam pillow Not an obvious leap in quality for the price

AK gives you a small increase in quality for a small price increase. It’s not a big leap from the Omega Pro in terms of first appearances, but the metal frame and foam quality mean it is built to last. If you have a few extra checks to throw and don’t plan to change or improve your setup for a few years, this should convince you. It has the usual lumbar and headrest pillows and is also covered with a piece of fabric if you squeak leather and plastic a bit.

Best for … people who want to spend a little more, but not much.

4. Noblechairs Hero play chair

A great chair that likes to combine work and leisure

Dimensions: 55 x 52 x 141 cm | Seat height: 131-141 cm

A nifty looking chair perfect for games and office work.

We recently got a chance to review the Noblechairs Hero, and it’s a nice piece of kit. This is designed to be an office chair as well as a game one, so the design is very understated and elegant. It has a fixed back and seat that is better for your posture and many features – such as fully adjustable armrests – to give you more comfort. The downside is that it could be a little boring for some, and if you’re looking for something to lie, this chair isn’t as accommodating as some others on the list. There are a few extras too, so what you pay for is a solid, reliable chair that will likely survive for years AND help your back. Depends on what you want:

Best for … Anyone who wants to work and play with a stylish chair that supports the whole back.

5. Vertagear Racing Series S-Line SL4000

Great support and comfort with a striking design

Dimensions: 52 x 53 x 140-149 cm | Seat height: 140-149 cm

If you want to make a decor statement with your gaming chair, consider the SL4000 a remarkable message to the IKEA of the world. An ultra-comfortable racing seat that is available in different colors if blue doesn’t suit your style – white and black- is particularly attractive – and everything is adjustable. Whether it’s seat height, four different armrest settings or the 170 degrees of choice for the backrest, this is a brilliantly customizable offer.

It takes a bit to get used to the cushion of the seat with its racing feel, but the lumbar support is exceptional and you will never want to go back to a normal office chair again. Like the Noble chair, we would suggest that you set it up with a friend, as things can get a bit tricky when you screw in the backrest, but once it’s built, you can twist and turn on a sea of comfort. The PVC coating is also easy to clean. We didn’t spill coffee….

Best for … Those who want to customize everything on a medium budget.

6. Nitro Concepts C80 Pure series

Gaming comfort at an affordable price

Dimensions: 50 x 50 x 117-124 cm | Seat height: 47-54 cm

The Nitro Concepts C80 is ideal if you want your gaming throne to be disguised as an office chair. The Nitro Concepts C80 is affordable and comfortable for long nights. With a stylish design and good upholstery, it manages to be much more expensive both visually and emotionally. While not quite as adjustable as the others on this list, it balances with supportive and comfortable back and armrests.

Again, it’s not that easy to set up – you get two people – and you don’t come with the lumbar pillows of the more luxurious chairs, but the foam back support will make your spine happy and you’ll still feel like a supervillain. There is also the benefit of a perforated seat cover to prevent everything from getting too warm in the hotter months. We haven’t noticed any noticeable difference, but it stays comfortable for really long Skyrim sessions.

Best for … Dress up as an office chair, but still mean game business.
