Pakistan Day, celebrated annually on March 23, was marked with great fervor across the country, with various events highlighting its historical significance. In Chitral, Suno Pakhtunkhwa FM 96 organized a grand event featuring a special program for children, “Suno Kids Show.” This engaging and educational segment introduced young participants to the importance of Pakistan Day and its historical context. Children from different schools enthusiastically participated, presenting national songs and speeches with passion, smiles on their faces, and patriotic spirit in their hearts. The event commenced with the national anthem, followed by informative sessions on Pakistan’s history and lively performances by children.

As part of the celebrations, Suno FM 96 also hosted a special broadcast, “Naqabil-e-Taskeer Pakistan Show,” dedicated to Pakistan’s resilience, history, and defense capabilities. This patriotic program saw active participation from esteemed guests, experts, youth, and children. The show began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a Naat, followed by discussions on the significance of Pakistan Day. A detailed session on the Lahore Resolution of March 23, 1940, enlightened listeners about the Pakistan Movement and the unwavering determination of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The discussion extended to Pakistan’s defense capabilities, nuclear strength, and advancements in modern warfare technology.

The event was attended by guests from various fields, including teachers, retired military officers, and young scholars, who reaffirmed their commitment to Pakistan’s bright future. The distinguished guest of honor was Inayatullah Aseer.

In keeping with the spirit of unity and tradition, Suno FM 96 Chitral arranged a special Iftar dinner in honor of new FC soldiers, children, and listeners, with nearly 60 guests in attendance. The Iftar featured traditional delicacies such as dates, fruit chaat, samosas, and pakoras, followed by a sumptuous meal. The new FC soldiers were warmly welcomed, and a special prayer session was held for Pakistan’s progress, peace, and stability.

Notable young participants in the event included Barkha Bhar, Leela Bhar, Adeeba Noor, Areeba Noor, Tauheed, Tauseef, Nargis Hassan, Malaika Tabassum, Asma Hasna, Ayesha, Maiza, Sehra, Alshaba, Arham Baba, Tooba Khan, Aswa Khan, and little Abihah Khanum. Special guests from the Talha Mehmood Foundation, including Mubashir and Qazi Saif, praised FM 96 Chitral as an excellent platform for the community.

The celebrations also marked the first anniversary of Suno FM 96 Chitral. The occasion was graced by Mubashir from Talha Mehmood Foundation, Qazi Saif, Muhammad Ali Johar Yousafzai, Ali Khan Khattak, Ishtiaq Chitrali, Zakaullah, Kaleemullah Haider, Qayyum Lala, Saif-ul-Azam, Bilal Khan, Zia-ur-Rehman, Jamaluddin, Fakhr Alam Chitrali, Falak Naz, and Shoaib Khattak, among others. The festivities continued until midnight with a special program hosted by Kaleemullah Haider, featuring an overwhelming response from listeners through calls and messages.

Listeners expressed their deep connection with the radio station, acknowledging Suno FM 96 as an integral part of their lives. The event successfully reinforced national pride and unity, making Pakistan Day 2025 a memorable celebration in Chitral.
