What is Subcision Surgery?
Subcision is an effective treatment option to improve the appearance of rolling scars. A sharp instrument is used to subcise, or break apart, fibrous bands tethering the top layer of skin down to deeper tissues below, in order to stimulate new collagen formation that lifts skin and decreases scarring.
