Maggie is a show on Hulu about a lady who can see the future by touching others. While it enables her to assist others by counseling them on crucial subjects and guiding them in the proper direction, it does not bode well for her future.
As alluring as the promise of seeing the future may be, Maggie’s narrative teaches us that it may also be a hindrance. According to the Regal Tribune, Maggie season 2 was released on July 6, 2022. You can watch the series on Hulu.
We have some fantastic recommendations if you are interested in other stories with a similar idea but a unique twist. You can discover almost all of these similar television series on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming platforms.
Seeing Things
Seeing Things is a Canadian dramedy that focuses on Louis Ciccone (Louis Del Grande), a Toronto newspaper writer whose strange futuristic visions help him to solve murders around the city and is arguably the most obscure title to cut. Louis can see the recent past, but Maggie can see the future.
One of the most interesting aspects of the series is that Louis’ post-cognitive visions may sometimes be controlled and stopped. Yet, in other instances, he can only uncover information the longer a vision lingers.
The funny ways Louis utilizes his psychic powers to engage with his wife Marge (performed by Del Grande’s real-life wife Martha Gibson) are certain to appeal to Maggie’s unrequited love plots.
Medium
Maggie’s abilities are restricted to foresight, but a psychic can possess much more. In ‘Medium,’ we follow the narrative of a lady named Allison who can not only see into the past and communicate with the dead but also foresee the future.
Although this vast array of abilities feels like a significant improvement, it is still a challenge for Allison since things remain as obscure for her as they are for Maggie. She must interpret her visions before she may utilize them to solve crimes and assist others.
iZombie
Maggie must touch people to see their future, but Liv Moore must consume their brains to view their history.
Based on the same-named comic book series, ‘iZombie’ tells the story of a med student who transforms into a zombie and takes a job in the morgue to have a constant supply of brains.
While consuming human brains keeps her sane and full, she experiences images of the individual whose brain she has consumed. She also inherited their personality qualities, placing her in an advantageous position to solve their crimes.
Touching You
If you enjoy the drama of “Maggie” more than its humor, then “Touching You” is the show for you. It tells the story of a guy named Do Jin Woo, who can glimpse the futures of anyone he touches.
Typically, he does not meddle with a person’s predetermined fate. But everything changes when he meets Jin Hee Young.
She is the most honest person he has ever encountered, so his heart bleeds when he sees her destiny. Do Jin is willing to do anything to prevent her ghastly demise, which is inscribed in her destiny.
While attempting to save her, he falls in love with her. However, the question remains: Will they have a happy ending, or will Jin Hee’s life follow the course initially planned?
