Social Worker Professor Dr Alhaj Md. Sharif Abdullah Hish Shaki Introduction
Bangladesh’s renowned legal expert and convener of building a humane world,Professor Dr Alhaj Md. Sharif Abdullah Hish Shaki received the Global Personality Award-2022 for his special contribution to human rights and social service. He is currently serving as the Registrar at the University of Skill Enrichment and Technology.
He was born on August 16, 1972, in Birampur village of Sultanpur Union, Brahmanbaria district. His father, the late Abdur Rahim, was a former bank employee. In 1987, he passed SSC from Chanpur Tamizuddin Secondary School, HSC from Brahmanbaria Government College, and Honors Masters from the National University. After that, he obtained LLM, MPhil, and PhD degrees in law from American World University (under Professor Dr. Hasan Talukder of Dhaka University).
He is a renowned legal expert and human rights activist in Bangladesh. He has extended his physical and financial support to the young poets and writers of Bengali literature to improve their quality of life. He has already become known as a poet’s friend in the literary world.
He has received numerous honors and recognitions for his work in protecting human rights, social service, improving the quality of education, and inspiring the young generation in literary work.
He is currently the Secretary General, International Human Rights Anti-Corruption Society, Vice Chairman, Central Committee NPS Human Rights, Central Advisor, Human Rights Review Society.
This scholar was also the Head of the Law Department at Prime University (formerly Uttara Campus) for some time.
