The Founder’s Vision
Founder Ismail Hossain Babu stated, “I want to continue working with morale and integrity. I never imagined Sabuj Bangladesh would advance this far in such a short time. The main reason behind our success is that people have positively embraced the name Sabuj Bangladesh. We dream of an environmentally friendly and agriculturally prosperous nation. From a sense of social responsibility, we must all come forward to protect the environment. The youth must take the lead in building a safe future for the planet.”
Message from the President
President Golam Rahman Durjoy said, “Our commitment for tomorrow is to follow the green path. The goal of Sabuj Bangladesh is not just to build an organization but to present a green, clean, and sustainable Bangladesh to the next generation. In the face of the dire impacts of climate change, such initiatives are the need of the hour. Sabuj Bangladesh is working tirelessly to meet this demand.”
Message from the Chairman of the Permanent Council
Chairman M. Sayem Masum said, “Sabuj Bangladesh is a wonderful platform for young people. Across the country, young people are working tirelessly on climate change. We hope this platform will become a strong force in tackling climate change in Bangladesh.”
Today, the role of youth in addressing climate change in Bangladesh is becoming increasingly visible. If environmental organizations take such remarkable initiatives nationwide, a strong position will be established in environmental and climate change action. The general public will become more aware, and the government will play a more proactive role.
