He was charged with 41 felonies, later reduced to 38, in an effort to bury him and kill the project.
Four federal judges involved in the case violated financial ethics rules by holding stock in energy companies that benefited from his conviction.
Exculpatory evidence was withheld.
His release was denied during COVID, despite prison approval.
