In the post-election period, when many people across Bangladesh are busy complaining about vote rigging or rigging, he is passing the time by going door to door to thank voters.
Pragati Barman Toma was seen going door to door to thank voters on Sunday afternoon.
He said that the common people went to vote after a long time, this is a big deal.
It is not a big deal to me who voted for me or who did not vote, I tried to convey the message of our party to the voters, I tried that.
Toma said that I went to different centers as a candidate. I feel that the voting was fair.
Toma said, I wanted to collect votes by convincing people. In our society, voters are influenced in exchange for various things. Which is not right. We think that a public representative will be elected through his moral and idealistic stance. At the same time, what is he saying to the people and how much does his work match his words!
I want to be by the side of the people by agitating for the realization of human rights.
Toma said, to change our society, we need to practice values. If we want to create a Bangladesh of farmers and workers, there is no alternative to change.
Toma pledged to remain active in the movement for the realization of rights.
Pragati Barman Toma was the candidate of the Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) in the Rangpur-4 (Pirgachha-Kaunia) constituency. Even though he did not win the election, he is so loved by the people. This time, 76 women contested the elections in Bangladesh. Pragati Barman Toma is one of them.
After receiving the news of his defeat on Friday, Pragati Barman Toma thanked the common people of Rangpur-4 constituency.
Toma said, the number of votes I received was very small. But the people have destroyed traditional politics.
Toma said, his only goal is to develop Bangladesh.
