Not Enjoying Your Disposable Vape? These Are the 4 Reasons Why

Disposable vapes are the most user-friendly vaping products on the market, and they’re definitely the most convenient as well. As soon as you remove a device from its package, you’re ready to start vaping. Disposable vapes have become very affordable in recent years, and they’ve also increased greatly in capacity. Considering all of those factors, it’s no surprise that disposable vapes have become the most popular vaping devices in the world

Although the popularity of disposable vapes isn’t surprising, you might be very surprised indeed if you try a disposable vape for the first time and don’t enjoy the experience. After all, millions of people have used these devices to help themselves quit smoking – shouldn’t it be love at first puff for you as well?

Disposable vapes are the most popular products that the vaping industry has produced to date, but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect. You still have to choose the right product for your needs, and you still have to use it correctly. In this article, we’re going to help you with both of those things. We’re also going to help you identify and potentially fix a disposable vape that isn’t working – and that’s where we’re going to begin.

Your Disposable Vape Doesn’t Work

If you’ve purchased a disposable vape that doesn’t work out of the package, it goes without saying that you’re not going to have a very good experience – especially if the device happens to be the first disposable vape that you’ve ever purchased.

If you have a brand-new disposable vape that blinks or doesn’t do anything when you puff on it, Premium Vape has an article with advice that might help you. The most common reason why a new disposable vape doesn’t work is because there’s an airflow blockage under the mouthpiece. If you remove the mouthpiece and reseat the silicone gasket and fabric pad under it, you should be able to clear the blockage. If that doesn’t work, you should try returning the device to the original point of sale. Thankfully, non-functional disposable vapes are extremely rare.

Note that every disposable vape has a finite life, which might be anything from a few hundred puffs to a few thousand depending on the specifications of that particular device. It’s completely normal for a disposable vape to run out of battery power and start blinking after a few days of use. If your device has a USB port, it’s probably not out of e-liquid yet. You can charge the device by connecting it to your computer. If it doesn’t have a USB port, it’s time to replace the device. If you’re using disposable vapes as a full-time replacement for smoking and don’t want to be tempted to buy cigarettes, you should always buy a few vapes at a time to ensure that you won’t run out.

The Flavor Isn’t Right for You

The next reason why you might not enjoy a disposable vape is because the flavor you’re using isn’t the right one for you. In 2018, researchers conducted a survey of over 20,000 people who vaped in an effort to learn more about the flavor preferences of the vaping community. The survey found that the vast majority of people who had quit smoking and switched fully to vaping had either switched from tobacco and menthol flavors to sweeter flavors at some point during their vaping journey or had never used tobacco or menthol flavors at all. The survey’s results also suggested that vapers who used non-tobacco and non-menthol flavors were more likely to quit smoking successfully.

What does this survey mean for you? It means that if you’re using a disposable vape with a tobacco or menthol flavor – and you aren’t enjoying your experience – there’s a good chance that you’ll enjoy the experience much more if you switch to a sweeter flavor that doesn’t attempt to mimic the taste of a cigarette. like an elf bar vape Remember that flavor variety is one of the greatest features of vaping. Making an effort to constantly try new flavors is a great way to keep yourself interested in vaping and to help yourself avoid the temptation to buy cigarettes.

You’re Using the Wrong Nicotine Strength

Many of the companies that manufacture disposable vapes make their products available in two different nicotine strengths. The exact nicotine content of the disposable vapes in your region depends on your specific laws, but they typically look something like this:

  • 50 mg/ml and 25 mg/ml in regions without restrictions on nicotine strengths
  • 20 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml in regions with restrictions on nicotine strengths

In general, a nicotine strength of 20 mg/ml or higher should be sufficient for you if you’re a smoker and are trying to quit. A disposable vape with a strength of 20-25 mg/ml won’t deliver as much nicotine per puff as a tobacco cigarette, but you can get around that issue by simply vaping more often.

If you live in a region with restrictions on nicotine strengths, though, you may find that the 10 mg/ml strength isn’t quite high enough to keep your cigarette cravings at bay. The 10 mg/ml strength is usually most appropriate for people who have switched fully to vaping and are now trying to reduce their nicotine consumption.

Regardless of what the vaping laws are in your area, if you’re using a disposable vape and aren’t satisfied with your experience – and you’re not using the highest nicotine strength available – it might be a good idea to try a higher strength.

You’re Inhaling Too Hard

The last problem that can really dampen your experience with a disposable vape is getting e-liquid in your mouth. That’s particularly unpleasant if you’re in a region with no restrictions on e-liquid nicotine strengths and are using a high-strength device with 50 mg/ml of nicotine. If a droplet of e-liquid hits your tongue at that strength, it’s going to taste awful no matter how good that particular e-liquid tastes in vapor form.

To prevent a disposable vape from spitting e-liquid into your mouth, you should always puff very gently when vaping. Use the device’s indicator light as a guide. When the light turns on, you’re puffing hard enough. Unlike with a cigarette, you won’t get bigger clouds with a vaping device if you puff more firmly. Instead, take longer, slower puffs to get bigger clouds. As we mentioned above, if you find that the experience isn’t sufficiently satisfying, you should consider switching to a higher nicotine strength if one is available.
