NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR NORWEGIAN CITIZENS
NZeTA is an electronic visa waiver required of Norwegian nationals who wish to visit New Zealand. This New Zealand visa waiver is mandatory for residents from 60 countries that offer them and also applies to Norwegian passport holders.
NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) is an electronic visa waiver program launched in July. Under the Visa Waiver Scheme, implemented in 2019, both Norwegian citizens and New Zealand transiting travelers may use NZeTA as their electronic travel authority (ETA) for 90 day stays without needing a New Zealand visa from Norway.
Norwegian citizens eligible to access New Zealand for tourism, commercial or transit purposes do not require visas at the embassy – an authentic New Zealand eTA can easily be acquired ahead of their visit to this beautiful country.
NZeTA allows holders to enter multiple times within its two-year validity period provided their passport remains valid. Due to being an electronic document, Norwegians can submit applications for NZeTA online instead of having to visit an embassy or consulate in person.
