On 17th October, Sunday, Aligarh Muslim University marks the 204th birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, who in1875 established the Muhammadan Anglo Oriental (MAO) College, known today as Aligarh Muslim University. The occasion is celebrated as Sir Syed day on the university campus as well as worldwide among various alumni associations.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tariq Mansoor requests the gracious online presence at Sir Syed day commemoration celebration. Meanwhile millions of AMU alumni took to various social media platforms to pay tribute to Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

Mohammad Adil Ali, a dynamic mechanical engineer, a social worker, and a proud alumnus of AMU was with us on this occasion, he told our press agency:

“Last year we monumentalize the centenary of our prestigious institution. Throughout the history of AMU, the alumni have played a vital role in the advancement and success of our Alma Mater. It is indeed a pivotal milestone that we are all celebrating the 204th birth anniversary and further looking forward to. It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of an institution which has given personalities like Zakir Hussain (The 3rd President of India), Mr. Hamid Ansari (The 12th Vice President), Muhammad Mansur Ali (The 3rd Prime Minister of Bangladesh) and the list goes on”

The senior members of AMU alumni associations in Europe and Middle East are striving hard and taking steps to push young talents from the campus into various world-renowned brands like Al Futtaim, Walmart, Saudi Aramco etc. by planning to arrange campus selection procedures for which they are inviting Adil to meet leading businessmen of Indian origin in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
