- The radio band of available wireless networks is denoted by the symbol GHz.

- Click the radio button that corresponds to your wireless network name (SSID) under Site Survey, and then click Connect.
- Enter your wireless network’s password and then click Connect.
- Wait for the process to finish.
- You should now be able to connect your range extender to the wireless network. To have internet access, you can connect wireless laptops and devices.
- The Network Name (SSID) should show the name of your router’s wireless network.
- Launch the web browser of your choice.
- Enter http /extender.linksys.com re6500 into the address bar.
- Allow the WiFi extender login page to fully load.
- To proceed, enter your login and password.
- Finally, press the login button.
