(Backstory)
Benjamin Martin (LifeOfGothic) is a 17-year-old musician born on the 29.03.2006 from Portsmouth who writes music about his life experiences, including his struggles with self-harm. Despite the challenges he faces, he channels his emotions into his music, creating a powerful and authentic sound. He takes inspiration from rock bands like Nirvana and The Cure, who have also tackled difficult subjects in their music. Through his music, Benjamin hopes to raise awareness about mental health issues and encourage others to seek help when they need it. He used to go by the name LifeOfSuspect, however he had quit writing music after feeling like life got back in track, things quickly tumbled down on him. Feeling suicidally depressed lately, he found solace in music, and it helped him escape from his struggles. Benjamin made a brave decision to return to writing music, using it as a way to express himself and cope with his emotions. His music is a reflection of his journey, and he hopes to inspire others to seek help when there at there lowest.
