In an inspiring effort to promote pedestrian safety and cleanliness, Leo Club of Dhaka Century Plus organized a special campaign under the banner of Leo District Council 315 A1. The initiative took place in various locations across Dhaka, with the club actively working at Karwan Bazar, one of the city’s busiest intersections.
The Leo members engaged in multiple impactful activities they cleaned the foot over bridge, assisted traffic movement, and distributed awareness leaflets among pedestrians. The leaflets encouraged citizens to use foot over bridges, follow traffic signals, and cross through zebra crossings to ensure safety and discipline on the roads.
Through their hands-on involvement, the members aimed to make people more conscious of the importance of using designated crossings and maintaining cleanliness in public areas. The initiative drew positive responses from commuters and local residents, who praised the young volunteers for their dedication and sense of civic responsibility.
This project by Leo Club of Dhaka Century Plus stands as a shining example of youth-led community service combining awareness, action, and leadership to build a safer and cleaner Dhaka. The club remains committed to carrying forward the Leo spirit of Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity, inspiring others to join hands in creating a better tomorrow.
