The Quran was originally transmitted orally at first, but even the first written version of the book seems to differ greatly from modern translations. Tajweed Rules :

Tajweed, from the beginning, needs to be learned by hearing and practicing to imitate complete repetition. The rules below are only here as an adjective and one should seek help. This article will cover some of the most important rules of the day. One can use this as a guide as he learns the rules. Below are some definitions that will apply to all definitions:

Ghunnah (nosebleed): This is the sound that comes out of your nose when you utter certain letters. Squeeze your nose so you can breathe on it. Now try to say the words that start with ‘m’ or ‘n’. You will feel your nose vibrate when you hold that letter. Like “Mmmm” when you see delicious food!

Sakinah / Sakin: This refers to a book with a sukoon. Example: sakinah day refers to the letter day and sukoon.

Noon Sakinah and Tanween: This Tajweed rule applies to vowels and letters that cause ‘nnn’ sounds. For example noon sakinah and tanween letters (a vowel that adds daytime sound to the letter used).

Izhaar (To make clear): If these letters [خ غ ح ع ه ء] are followed after the day sakinah or tanween pronouncing the day without ghunnah.

There are two types of Idghaam: one with ghunnah and the other without.

About Ghunnah: If these letters [و م ن ي] are followed after the day sakinah or tanween, then skip the ghunnah from noon, but instead use the ghunnah with the following letter.

Outside of Ghunnah: If these letters [ر ل] are followed in the afternoon sakinah or tanween, then skip the day and call the next letter outside of ghunnah.

Iqlaab (To convert) If there is [ب] followed by the day sakinah or tanween, turn the ghunnah into [م] by pronouncing meem but pronounce [ب] later.

Ikhfaa(To hide): he pronoun applies to the remaining unspecified characters. One should hide the sakinah of the day or tanween but use the ghunnah. The level of ghunnah depends on the particular character followed in the background. Adjust your lips and mouth as if you were about to utter a letter in the afternoon sakinah or tanween.

Noon and Meem Mushaddad This is a simple Tajweed rule that only applies to two characters.

If during the day or meem has shaddah, call the ghunnah of 2 bits. This is still used when setting up a book. Be careful not to pass the sound of the book, but only the ghunnah.

Meem Sakinah The Tajweed law has the same sub-rules as the day sakinah and tanween, but not many applications for specific characters.

Ikhfaa Shafawy: If [ب] is followed after meem sakinah, use ghunnah while hiding meem sakin before proceeding to [ب].

Idghaam Shafawy: If the beginning of a word begins with meem and is followed by meem sakinah, combine words with meem and use ghunnah.

Izhaar Shafawy: The following rule applies to all other letters if they follow meem sakinah. Just pronounce the meem clearly outside the ghunnah and do not associate it with the next letter.
