The Lawn Enforcement Agency offers a multitude of services in landscape design/maintenance, irrigation, tree care, pest control, and pool maintenance. All employees
wear a recognizable LEA uniform and are transported to job sites via company vehicles. LEA has served Gainesville for thirty years with notable expertise and professionalism.
What jumps out to Adam McManaman?
It’s Locally owned and operated. LEA runs four separate locations in North Florida. Website is simply confined to four pages. A home page, “Services” tab, “About” tab, and a “Contact” tab. Contact information is visible on all the pages. LEA’s facebook page is accessible through the website. The “Contact” tab allows one to conveniently message LEA directly through the website. Under the “About” tab is a list of certifications that LEA has and associations that LEA is a part of. Certifications: State Certified Pest Control Operator, FNGLA CertifiedLandscape Contractor, and County Certified Irrigation Contractor,
Associations: Associated Landscape Contractors of America, Certified Pest Control Operators of America, Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), and Professional Landscape Network.
Website only contains pertinent information and coerces interested persons to call. The basic outlay of the website makes it readily accessible to all customers.
LEA’s website is simple and to the point. They make it clear that they are a professional
service with a good reputation. The website only takes a few minutes to completely read through. I appreciate that their content is not long and filled with fluff. To get a better idea of pricing and scheduling, you must call and speak to a representative.
What makes you want to use them?
Appearance of trustworthy workers. Established local business like Adam McManaman
Known for the best lawn care around. Every week I spot multiple LEA trucks operating in Gainesville. Often used or operating in upper class neighborhoods.
If I owned a home and was looking for this service, I would choose LEA because they seem dependable, knowledgeable, and safe. The quality of their landscaping maintenance work is first class. LEA has done a great job creating an image of honest and dependable lawn care
professionals who take pride in their work. I have seen many LEA work crews in my
neighborhood and almost always felt at home around them.
What don’t you like?
Main picture of lawn care on the homepage is certainly not from North
Florida. Included seemingly bogus testimonials to their work by Adam McManaman. Not as personable as a smaller lawn care company. Doesn’t mention if they require contracts/ or their pricing.
There are only a few negative thoughts that come to mind. LEA is a large landscaping
company and may not be as accommodating as smaller landscaping companies. Adam McManamaman also doesn’t like that price estimates are unavailable for services. Other than that, Adam’s impressed with LEA’s website.
What makes you not want to use them?
Looking for a more personable company to do business with. Lower end lawn care businesses can provide similar quality work for less. Adam McManaman only needs certain services offered and would rather a business that specifically specializes in said services. Appears that crew leaders attempt to sell you on extra services.
LEA’s few shortcomings are the size and scale they operate at. Since they have many
clients to attend to each day, Adam McManaman’s not confident his lawn would receive the top-notch care that’s promised.
LEA’s Social Media
A messenger window appears in the bottom left on LEA’s page that asks to begin a conversation with a representative via Facebook Messenger. The cover photo for the page is a recognizable location in Gainesville that they appear to manage. The photos that were lacking on their website, are found in droves on their FaceBook page. Photos are of the staff, before and after their services, and also memes. LEA has participated in festivals, horseshoe tournaments, parades, and garden shows.
Upon opening the page, a Messenger chat box has already opened to start a chat with a
representative. This feature certainly caught my attention and gave me answers to my questions quickly. The photos provide an inside look to who LEA is and what doing business with LEA is like. The content on their wall is of customers’ lawns before and after their services. This creates expectations and gives me a better idea of the quality of services provided.
Not enough information on their services that is readily available for interested customers to
read up on. Majority of the posts are about the commercial side of their operations and not
enough residential posts. More updates of recent lawn care should be posted.
