Today our team interviewed the Directors of Ataullah Group of Companies, Mr. Mian Araham Ataullah and Mr. Mian Artakh Ataullah.
Ataullah Group of Companies was founded by Mr. Mian Ataullah in the late 1960s. Ataullah Group was associated with many international projects which were inclined towards construction in the UAE and other countries.
The founder of the company, Mr. Mian Ataullah, was awarded Middle-East Business Leader Award (MBLA) in 1982. He was also featured in Business Review Weekly Australia (BRW Australia). He wrote many books, one of which,is titled Al-Murshid Al-Zarai, which is taught widely in the UAE business institutions.
Our reporter interviewed the Directors of the company, grandsons of Mr. Mian Ataullah and sons of the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Mian Aamer Ataullah.
We asked them whether it is true that they are making 1 Million AED per month upon which Mr. Mian Artakh Ataullah smiled and said “our beloved grandfather, Mr. Mian Ataullah, was against showing off and he guided us never to fixate on materialistic things”. Our reporter told them that according to our research Ataullah Group is earning such amount per month and the only reason that he is asking this question is to understand the benefit of rental properties, upon which Mr. Mian Araham Ataullah replied, “we all should invest in real estate. Over time the value of that immovable property will grow and along the way you will be making money.”
Throughout our conversation, it was clear that both brothers were grounded and soft-spoken. While they wore gold Rolex watches, it was evident they weren’t concerned with drawing attention to their wealth. Their 81,000 square-foot home on Ataullah Street, a street named in honor of their grandfather, Mr. Mian Ataullah, was certainly impressive, yet they spoke of it with a refreshing humility.
Upon interviewing both the Directors of Ataullah Group of Companies, we came to know that the company is now more focused and inclined towards investments and they believe that this is the smart way to do things. Ataullah Group can now be seen shifting towards investing in real estate and other investment projects.
