Steps to make egg benedict at home

Ingredients
- English muffins, 2
- Eggs, 2
- Bacon, 2 slices
- Avocado, 1/2
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- Hollandaise sauce
- Chopped chives
Preparation of Eggs Benedict
Although it does not take 10 minutes to prepare them, doing it well requires having previously made the hollandaise sauce and English muffins.
Step 1
Actually, preparing the eggs Benedict once we have all the ingredients ready is something very simple. The first thing we have to do is open the English muffin in half and toast it over medium heat (6/12) on a griddle or pan until the edges are golden brown.
Step 2
Meanwhile, we peel the avocado, mash it with a fork and mix it with a little salt and the lemon juice so that it does not blacken.
Step 3
To assemble the eggs Benedict, on each piece of muffin once toasted we spread the avocado paste, put a slice of crunchy bacon cut in two -good, or all the crunchy bacon that one wants-, a poached or soft-boiled egg and all washed down with a good amount of hollandaise sauce that can be sprinkled with cayenne or chopped chives.
