YouTube (mobile and web apps) offers a number of features that help you find videos and channels you haven’t seen before, including personalized recommendations and category-based landing pages. Open YouTube. If you’re using a phone or tablet, tap the red-and-white YouTube icon on the Home screen or in the app drawer. If you’re using a computer, open a browser at https://www.youtube.com.
If you haven’t signed in to your YouTube account yet, sign in now. Signing in gives you the visibility of relevant recommendations and the ability to subscribe to channels
Watch suggested videos. YouTube uses your watch history and other metrics to suggest new videos you like. After launching the app or logging into the site, scroll down to see current recommendations that are updated frequently.

After selecting a category, scroll down to see different channels that match the theme. Click or tap a video in the lists, or select a channel name to search for other videos.
If you don’t see the menu to the left of Youtube.com, click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the upper left corner to expand it.
Click or tap Trends to see what’s up. If you’re using a phone or tablet, click the Explore box in the upper-right corner of the Directions box. If you’re using a computer, click “Orientation” in the menu that appears on the left side of the page.
You can watch a variety of popular videos by scrolling down the main trends page. If you want to watch certain types of videos (like music, games, and news), tap one of the categories at the top of the screen to improve your results.
If you like the video, click or tap the channel name (below the video player) and select the video to see what’s available.
