There are some quick ways to find the best beauty products reviews. But first of all you have to know what ‘best’ means to you. It can be an absolute quality, or just a product that fits your needs better than others etc. Do not follow only on positive reviews! If it is too positive it might be fake – but also if it contains lots of negative aspects usually the review is suspicious. Try to read on different resources before purchase of any expensive beauty product, especially if you need specific information about ingredients or consistency of a cream or looking for a specific blow dryer for example.
Some of my favorite websites with great beauty product reviews are:
1). Beautypedia – Paula’s Choice contains cosmetic reviews and professional skincare advice from Paula Begoun , author of bestsellers like Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me .
2). Datbeauty – Datbeauty is also a reliable platform where you can find unbiased professional reviews about beauty and fashion products.
3). Ciao.co.uk – international review platform, Beauty products reviews are done by users.
4). Total Beauty – site with professional advice and user reviews on beauty products, makeup, hair care etc.
5). MakeupAlley – great for drugstore makeup: Reviewed by ‘real’ people all around the world
6). Makeup Store Reviews – international resource for collecting other people’s experience with polish cosmetics like Rimmel, Eveline, Manhattan etc. (for Polish beauties)
Best friend for searching online opinions can be your smartphone! There are some apps that help you find out what is talked in social media relevant to your needs.
Bazaar – Shopping made social. The app contains all products sorted by categories like skincare, hair care, fragrances etc. It also shows real people’s opinions about it according to the time of their experience with that product, what they liked or disliked and how exactly did they feel when using that product, plus you can write your own review to share your opinion too!
Beauty Plus Me (android) – allows you to discover new beauty products in no time. You can upload photos of your favorites to see what other think about them, compare prices at different stores and read honest reviews from men and women who actually tried out the products.
Shopular (android / iOS) – Shopular is an intelligent shopping companion that uses your phone’s location and relationship with retailers to send you personalized deals.
Yipit (android / iOS) – Discover great deals from local deal sites, daily email digests and social media in one easy-to-use app.
You can always ask opinions on the online community like Reddit or try Google Trend yourself, it is a really useful tool if you want to find out what kind of product is most popular now! 🙂
Good luck finding best beauty products reviews 🙂 And remember: never follow only on positive reviews! Let us know if you found any interesting resources for online beauty product reviews so we can update our list.
