Disney+ is available on DStv for an access fee. The first time you access it, you may receive a free trial from DStv. However, after this, you will have to pay an access fee to continue enjoying Disney on DStv. If you already have a DStv subscription, or an Explora Ultra subscription, you can continue watching Disney on DStv for free.

DStv offers a free trial for Disney+

MultiChoice, the satellite TV company in South Africa, has teamed up with Disney to offer its DStv subscribers a free trial for Disney+. The service will be a streaming service that will be available on MultiChoice’s Explora Ultra decoder. As well as bringing Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to the Explora Ultra, MultiChoice will carry the Disney+ app.

The free trial will last three months. It’s valid for any DStv customer with an active DStv subscription. Customers must provide a cellphone number to link the account. Then they can start watching Disney+ and save R49 a month. To get started, log into your DStv account. Then select “Add Ons” or “Subscribe” and follow the instructions to add the service to your account. Once you’re done, log in to Disney+ to start streaming. You can also add Disney+ to your Explora via the DStv Now app.

Subscribers will also get access to hundreds of Disney Channel specials, series and movies. Some of these titles will even be available in 4K video quality. Parents can also customize the content based on the ages of their children. The program will last for three months and will be available to subscribers who activate their subscriptions before May 15. To activate your device, you can use disneyplus.com login/begin 8 digit code and also get free trial to enjoy best videos.

Disney+ also includes Star Wars: “The Book of Boba Fett,” the first two seasons of “The Mandalorian,” and the entire Skywalker saga. In addition, subscribers can stream to four screens at once. They can also watch movies and TV shows from Marvel Studios, including Iron Man and Star Wars. Disney Plus is a subscription-based video on-demand service. It is owned and operated by the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution division. Like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu, Disney+ allows you to access a diverse library of Disney movies and shows. It is also the exclusive home of original films from The Walt Disney Studios. The service allows four users to watch a movie at the same time and allows for seven profiles with one account. You can also download countless movies, TV shows, and cartoons from the Disney library.

DStv charges an access fee to enable Disney+

Disney+ is an additional subscription that subscribers can purchase from DStv. Disney+ is not included in the DStv Premium discount. While it is not free, it is less expensive than DStv’s regular subscription. Subscribers will need to use a decoder approved by Disney.

Disney+ will launch in South Africa on May 18 and is available to subscribers of DStv. It will feature an ever-growing catalogue of Disney originals and general entertainment content. In addition to its extensive range of Disney movies and TV shows, subscribers will also be able to watch movies, documentaries, live-action series, short-form content, and more.

DStv is partnering with Disney to offer the service to its customers. This partnership will provide consumers with a more extensive selection of Disney content and ease of subscription and payment. In South Africa, DStv is currently home to 8.9 million subscribers, with 1.4 million being premium and 2.8 million in the mid-market category. With its new OTT service, DStv will be able to offer the option to bundle its premium and mid-market services with Disney+. DStv has been carrying Disney channels for many years. It now plans to offer Disney+ in 4K resolution. Subscribers will also be able to watch content on four devices at once. However, DStv subscribers will need to pay an access fee to enable Disney+.

The new service will be available to customers of various plans. Regular Disney is available on channel 303. The access fee for Disney+ on DStv is R119 per month. The service is included in three DStv packages: Compact+, Premium and Compact.

Adding Disney+ to a DStv subscription

The good news is that DStv subscribers now have the option to add Disney+ to their subscription. While it is not free, you will only pay R110 a month for the service. This will include access to DStv Catchup and Box Office. The only downside is that you are not saving money compared to a DStv subscription. In addition to Disney’s existing films and shows, subscribers to DStv can also access Disney+, a streaming service. Similar to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu, Disney Plus gives subscribers access to classic and new Disney movies. In addition to movies, subscribers will also be able to watch Disney shorts and other content that they may not otherwise be able to access.

Adding Disney+ to a DSTV subscription is simple. MultiChoice has partnered with The Walt Disney Company Africa to offer the streaming service for DStv subscribers. The new service will launch in South Africa on 18 May 2022 and be available via MultiChoice’s Explora Ultra decoder. Customers can also enjoy exciting bundle deals and limited launch offers to get the most out of Disney+. In addition to being available on your DSTV subscription, Disney+ is available on your smart televisions and other devices. If you have a smart TV, you can watch Disney+ on your television through the app store on your TV. Just download the app and log in to your account.

Adding Disney+ to an Explora Ultra subscription

Adding Disney+ to an Explora subscription allows subscribers to watch a wide range of popular animated movies and TV shows on their Explora Ultra decoder. The service will be available from 18 May and will include a range of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars content. MultiChoice says it is committed to delivering the best local and international content to customers.

If you have an Explora Ultra subscription, you can add Disney+ to it for just R110 a month. The Explora Ultra is a DStv approved decoder, and offers OTT apps alongside DStv. This allows you to watch Disney+ alongside DStv content. MultiChoice has partnered with Walt Disney Co Africa to distribute Disney+. This service will be available on Explora Ultra decoders starting 18 May 2022. Disney+ will join Netflix SA and Amazon Prime Video in South Africa, which are already available on the Explora Ultra.
