How Politics Profoundly Pollute Punditry and the most successful, failed inventor you ever heard of Washington, DC.

The saying all’s fair in love and waris a little over a century-and-a-half old, but the idea of comparing love and war is a coupling several centuries older still. Miguel de Cervantes made the comparison in 1604 in Don Quixote when he wrote, “Love and war are all one . . . It is lawful to use sleights and stratagems to . . . attain the wished end.“The above is Cliff Notes’ version of this old axiom, however, modern times adds the new twist of “politics” to this incredibly old saying.

The general election of 2020, and for that matter the general election of 2016 saw the media embrace the peddling of “fake news”. Most thought the term fake news was just something the “Orange Man” said while on stage addressing tens of thousands of those who create the throng to support making American great again. The real truth is the heart of the term fake news comes from the fact the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 and the 2013 NDAA overturned a 64-year ban on the domestic dissemination of propaganda (described as “public diplomacy information”) produced for foreign audiences, effectively eliminating the distinction between foreign and domestic audiences. In short, it is 100% okay for media to create fake news stories and facts (or the lack thereof) for manipulating public opinion.

FAKE NEWS GOES MAINSTREAM

2016 when Donald J. Trump became the 45th President of the United States fake news went mainstream, and the media stopped trying to convince the public it was fair and unbiased. In effect, all gloves came off and “all’s fair in love and war AND politics” became the new norm. Come general election time 2020 the new modus operani for all mainstream media peddling fake news became set in stone. If you have ever watched a Presidential Primary debate, you have seen each candidate bashing his or her challengers by accusing them of all kinds of horrible actions and beliefs.  It does, in fact, go with the territory.

In these days of tech titans and public influencers, the cannibalization of credibility and media ostracization can trickle down to a particular candidate’s most influential and well-known supporters as well.

CASE IN POINT

In media terms, if a company wanted to buy 30 minutes of prime-time cable TV coverage they could expect to pay $5,000,000 to as much as $20,000,000 (if not more) depending on the network for those precious 30 minutes. The fact is a prime-time media block is priced so astronomical most companies can only afford one simple 30 second commercial.  If the cost of media is so wildly expensive, then why would national media dedicate almost a full half hour to the cannibalization of the credibility and off-the-mark ostracization of one of America’s top inventors?  Is one person so dangerous to a media or political parties’ agenda, that the media gods deem it feasible to donate (yes donate) what could be said to be $10,000,000 of media coverage to massage the minds of the masses and lead them to believe something other than the absolute facts of the matter?

The tip off for this story came when MSNBC host Rachel Maddow attacked technology pioneer and award-winning inventor Jovan Hutton Pulitzer.   MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow was the most-watched host in cable news in the first quarter of 2021, with The Rachel Maddow Show delivering an average total audience of 3.604 million viewers.  The real question is why would Maddow dedicate a full one half of her broadcast ridiculing and ostracizing Pulitzer?  Most people would not even know him by name;however, all people use his inventions and pioneering technologies several times every single day of their lives. If you have ever used your mobile phone to scan a bar code or QR Code to buy an item, look up information, seek out a better price, or in place of your boarding pass when you fly with all airlines, then you have used just a few of Pulitzer’s inventions.

EVERY MOBILE DEVICE IN THE WORLD

If you use any type of mobile device, then you use a product manufactured by a company which has licensed over 200 of Pulitzer’s technology inventions.  To date, over 400 major manufacturers such as Apple, s eBay, IBM, AOL, Cisco, Google, Intel Corporation, and Sony Corporation have licensed one of Pulitzer’s most successful patent portfolios to date – the Scan Commerce, Scan Connect, Scan Detect platform. These licenses cover virtually 100% of all mobile devices manufactured globally which begs the question “Why are Maddow and other media outlets trying to portray Pulitzer as a failed inventor?”

“…the inventor of the CueCat. The cat shaped handheld bar code scanner which has gone down in consumer history as one of the stupidest, most pointless things ever invented… They have the CueCat treasure hunter guy to fall back on. Even after the UV lights for the nonexistent watermarks trick hasn`t worked and they have abandoned that, they have also got another magic trick they`re going to do to detect fold marks on the ballots.” Rachel Maddow 04/29/21

“‘The Arizona Mirror’ reported in detail on this fantasy among the Trump recounters that somehow fold marks on the ballots will reveal the terrible truth of all the fraud in the election and make it so Joe Biden isn`t really the president anymore.”Rachel Maddow 04/29/21

“Audit using unproven technology developed by ‘failed inventor’ Jovan Pulitzer…observations of the auditing process reveal that auditors are scouring the 2.1 million ballots for ‘counterfeits’ by using an unproven process created by the man who developed one of the ‘worst inventions’ ever.  That technology was developed by Jovan Pulitzer, a favorite of election fraud conspiracy theorists, who claims to have invented technology that can detect fraudulent ballots by examining the folds in the paper and the markings in various elections. When he asserted that Joe Biden’s win in Georgia last year was marred by fraud that only he could detect, Georgia’s Republican secretary of state derided him as a “failed inventor and a failed treasure hunter.”Arizona Mirror – April 30, 2021

FAILING TO REVEAL THE FACTS

Reading the media quotes above two things become very apparent: (1) Facts did not matter (or there was no fact checking at all) for their reporting, and (2) The real beef they have with Pulitzer is he is working toassure American voters can expect absolute election integrity in any and all elections. “For me this is not about a President or even a certain Political party. This is only about making sure every American vote counts and our election systems cannot be compromised by any nefarious actors” states Pulitzer.

Pulitzer’s testimony for the Senate Sub-Committee on Election Integrity in Georgia this past December went viral. At a time when all the mainstream media were saying the general election of 2020 was flawless and represented the most efficient election ever conducted, Pulitzer presented physical evidence how the printing of the ballots in Georgia caused the machines to be out of compliance.  Pulitzer pointed out to lawmakers that normal vote adjudications (votes the machines set aside to be actually voted by an administrator not the actual voter) were 1.1% in 2016, 2.2% in 2016, yet in the 2020 general election in Fulton County, Georgia exceeded 94%.  A compliance number so out of alignment (by 1300%) that the machines were certifiably not working correctly, and this was all caused by possibly the intentional misprinting of the physical ballots in the county. Something which should have never occurred and could of have been prevented if procedures had been followed as established by law.

OVER THE TARGET – BECOMES THE TARGET

Insiders and numerous observers contend Pulitzer has become a target of the media because he is “over the target” when it comes to election integrity and in specific, the current complete general election audit going on in Maricopa County, Arizona. Pulitzer has innovated a brand-new way to audit elections, specifically the ballots cast by voters in any given election called “Kinematic Artifact Detection”.  Pulitzer’s new innovation is designed to discern between legally cast ballots and possible counterfeit or duplicated ballots and is predicted to become a historic election audit game changer.  The technology is said to electronically audit 20 new audit base line items which have never been able to be audited or verified before.  Those involved in the process feel many who certified the elections and/or participated in questionable activities related to the 2020 general election are terrified Pulitzer’s technology will be the breakthrough, which for the first time exposes just how unsecure our election system and their electronic components are.

FAILURE BREEDS SUCCESS

If in fact “all’s fair in love and war…and politics” applies here, then the axiom “Failure breeds success” should come to mind as well.  As a Forbes article stated “It seems that failure tends to be more public than success. Or at least that is what we perceive it to be. We fret it, we try to avoid it, and we question ourselves every time we have unconventional ideas. But the simple truth is – no great success was ever achieved without failure. It may be one epic failure. Or a series of failures – such as Edison’s 10,000 attempts to create a light bulb or Dyson’s 5,126 attempts to invent a bagless vacuum cleaner. But whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary steppingstone to achieving our dreams.”

Viewing the negative media coverage of Pulitzer through this Forbes filter, it is easy to see why mainstream media, the pundits on the left and those afraid of what a new type of audit may discover about our voting systems, are terrified of Pulitzer.  Mainstream media nowadays seems to be nothing more than political pundits pontificating ideas they alone see fit for public consumption.  Fact is,they simply they cannot have it both ways.  Either Pulitzer combined with the fact he has 200 patents alone licensed on 15 billion mobile devices, proves he and his technologies developed change the very fabric of our society and are the true hallmark of his success. Or, if he really is only a failed inventor (not sure how such tremendous success is labeled failure) then they too should be very afraid that whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary steppingstone to achieving our dreams.  Pulitzer dreams of assuring the public their vote counts and our elections are totally secure.  Seems the media just dreams up ways to attempt to cancel those who really matter to society at large, especially if those individuals, such as Pulitzer are not in lock step with the medias’ liberal ways of thinking.

If the media under the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 and the 2013 NDAA can lawfully to use sleights and stratagems to attain their wished end, then no wonder they attack the very inventor who may finally bring all election shenanigans and nefarious activities to their end. In turn, ending one huge way the media manipulates the minds of American citizens.  The simple fact is, if Pulitzer were really inconsequential to society and a huge failure the media would never write about him or talk about him. It is quite the opposite, and it seems to most Americans, the media and those people who want America to fail or change for the worse, should be afraid of Pulitzer. Very afraid!
