Skyward is excited to offer its families an online family access portal in 2022. This online system will allow families to access their student’s academic, disciplinary and attendance records, along with other important information. Skyward is committed to providing a user-friendly experience that meets the needs of our families.

Skyward FBISD Family Access

Skyward FBISD is committed to providing family access to its programs and services. This means that all families, regardless of their income level, will have access to the programs and services that Skyward FBISD offers.

There are a number of ways in which families can access Skyward FBISD programs and services. Some families may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program. Families who qualify may also be eligible for free or reduced-price childcare through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). In addition, many families may be able to receive assistance through the Federal Work-Study Program.

How Does It Work?

You can access Skyward through your Family Account on the district website at You will need to login with your student ID and password. Once you are logged in, click on the “Student Portal” tab and select “Family Access.” From there, you will be able to sign into your account and access all of your student information.

Family Access also includes the ability to add or change a family member’s account password, make payments to your student, view reports and grades, and more!

How to Apply for?

To apply for Family Access, parents/guardians must first visit the school office and complete an application. The application can be found online at or in the school office.

Parents/guardians must also provide proof of residency, such as a copy of their driver’s license or utility bill. If the student is living with a parent/guardian other than the child’s natural parent, documentation must be provided that establishes the relationship between the child and their other parent/guardian. This could include letters from parents/guardians or court documents.

Children must have a birth certificate on file in order to enroll in Skyward FBISD Family Access classes.

Once all the necessary paperwork has been completed, families will be contacted to schedule an appointment to tour the school and meet with a teacher. Classes will begin once all paperwork is approved by the district superintendent.
