In Path of Exile, leagues represent the different game worlds or domains where characters exist. Each character can only belong to one league at a time, and cannot interact with characters outside of their own league. There are two main categories of leagues: permanent and temporary leagues. Permanent leagues are always available and characters in these leagues do not get reset or deleted when a new league is introduced. Temporary leagues, on the other hand, are introduced periodically and typically last for a few months. When a temporary league ends, characters in that league are transferred to a permanent league, and all progress and items are retained. With the upcoming Crucible League just around the corner, We wanted to share some tips and tricks to help you have a great league start.

Selecting Your Build:
The most important thing when selecting Poe Builds is to choose something that you will enjoy playing. However, it is also a good idea to choose a build that you know will scale well with levels and that you are confident will be strong. Be careful of following guides that seem too good to be true and always have a backup plan in case your first build doesn’t work out.
Vendor Recipes:
There are many vendor recipes that can be very useful in the early stages of the game. Keep an eye out for these and take advantage of them when you can. For example, you can turn iron rings into topaz or ruby rings.
Crafting:
Use your crafting bench to its full potential. You can craft on a white item, which is useful for getting the sockets and links you want. You can also craft resistances early on to help you stay alive.
Foothills Farming:
Be aware that the chances of getting a diadem from Katarina in Foothills may have changed. It is still a good place to farm for betrayal gear, but don’t get discouraged if you don’t get a helmet after farming Poe Currency for a long time.
League Mechanics:
Engage with the league mechanics early on to take advantage of their benefits. Don’t wait until you are at a high level to start engaging with the mechanics, as they will stop spawning once you are 10 levels or more above them.
