If you don’t work out or don’t go to a gym, you must start running in the morning. There’s no better way to start the day than with a morning run. It increases the production of endorphins in your body, making you active and happy. 

The more the number of endorphins in your bloodstream, the less the level of stress. Suffice it to say, it releases stress significantly and uplifts your mood. Just find a nearby park and hit it. 

Meditation

Another effective stress buster is meditation, especially mindfulness-based meditation. It not only relieves stress but also alters the way you perceive things. When you start perceiving things positively, half of your stress leaves there and then. 

Plus, as you know, most of your stress comes from overthinking the past and the future. Meditation teaches you to live in the present, which further helps in altering your overthinking habit. Thus, it would be safe to say that meditation relieves stress from its root cause. 

A Warm Cup of Herbal Tea

Ranking third is herbal tea. While you may not know it, a lot of herbs and plants work well for stress relief. They’re extremely effective in calming your mind and body as they come with natural healing properties.

Last but not least, body massage is also a wonderful stress buster. The gentle strokes of massage effectively release physical tension as well as mental stress. It also works well for eliminating fatigue, increasing blood circulation, and rejuvenating the skin. 

Thereby, in case of chronic stress, you must visit a nearby spa and get a body massage. If stress is persistent in your life, you can also bring a massage chair home. Chair massage therapy is equally beneficial; hence, worth trying.
