Features & Synchronization of Public Folders Data with Outlook Enabled Devices

This year has had every activity going remotely, such as jobs, meetings, schools, even our social gatherings. This has transformed our digital interactions, both personally and professionally. We need apps to maintain productivity while working remotely and apps that connect us with friends and family using public folders data.

Files are the starting point of maintaining connections and getting work done. Presentations, memos, videos, and photos are all necessary for fruitful interactions. For a better personal touch and flexible file experience, you can easily sync public folders to outlook. Syncing your public folders data to outlook will ensure all your shared content is in one location.

Besides, it gives you the privilege of flexible working with shared content and the same power, just like you would with your files. In simple terms, any added content is synced, shared, and combined. Moreover, all the existing features will be retained, whether it is the security or compliance policies.

There’s a need for many employees in most organizations to access shared company data. Most smartphones, however, cannot synchronize public folders data. With the features discussed below, you can easily synchronize data with outlook enabled devices.

Code Two Exchange Sync

Code Two automatically synchronizes public folders data with Outlook mailboxes. Besides, the folders synchronize data easily to mobile devices.

Data can be synchronized either through one-way synchronization or through two or more folders in one direction. This means there are initial folders and targeted folders. Changes made to the initial folders are synchronized to the target folders and cannot be reversed. Two-way, on the other hand, all changes made both in the source folder and target folder are reflected in either direction. Whether you delete or edit data in any folders, the changes will be noticed in equal measures.

With this, you get to enjoy updated data all the time on your outlook mailbox despite the mobile phone you are using.

Moreover, if you are an employer, you have the option of deciding whether your employees have the right to modify the data shared with them either on their phones or personal computer.

Real-time Collaboration

Data synchronization between transfer server folders occurs in real-time when using CodeTwo Exchange Sync. This means that any item changes in the source folder will be immediately transferred to the folder or selected folders.

Sync happens in the background, so it doesn’t seem to eliminate users.

There are two common types of data syncing between Microsoft Exchange Server folders. Sync can be periodically or real-time – as per our request.

Also, there are many ways for different systems to access data transfer. It has access to libraries: CDO, Outlook API, WebTV, EWS, and Extended MBI. As state-of-the-art libraries that allow for the best performance and the highest quality features, we are continually using expanded MAPI libraries in our applications.

Conditions – Select sync data

By using words, the Code to Exchange Sync allows the administrator to accurately control which items can be synced and can be synced to the target folder.

Conditions prevent copying items to a targeted folder that does not meet the specified requirements. For example, the administrator system can be configured to synchronize calendar meetings with a specific name, not later than seven days, marked with a ‘Business’ category and not specified by the appropriate users.

With CodeTwo Exchange Sync, you can choose from a variety of terms and conditions. Access to some of them depends on the type of products you are compatible with. For example, communication devices use a phone number filter not available for specific data types.

Filters use code synchronization and rotation in most cases. You can use this to track a user’s inbox. Suppose you have a message with a specific name or a particular recipient in the inbox. In that case, you can copy this message to the selected mailbox or public folder without interrupting the user.

Modifiers – a robust tag of copied data

Apart from the terms, modifiers are another unique feature of CodeTwo Exchange Sync that gives the controller extensive control of synchronized data.

Modifiers allow you to change the properties (fields) of synced objects while flying. You can use the Administrator feature to change the title, type, date, and many other attributes before saving the items to the target folder. This feature is handy for one-way synchronization – multiple typing alone – to copy data from various source folders into one targeted folder.

When modifying the modifier, the controller selects the attributes that will be changed before saving it in the target folder and decides how the feature will be limited. Transformers allow you to change multiple object properties.

Easy shipping and setup

Depending on your organization’s needs and requirements, Code to Exchange Sync can be installed directly on the Exchange server or other platforms or even in the workstation. The only system required is a computer program installed to connect to Microsoft Exchange servers or servers that participate in data synchronization.

As with all applications, sending and setting up an exchange code synchronization is very easy and less complicated. In most cases, this can be done without reading the instructions. However, a brief installation guide can help.
