In every industry, there are those who follow the path—and then there are those who build the runway. Captain Carlos Eduardo Rodriguez Martinez is one of the latter. Known for his world-class expertise as a pilot and consultant, Carlos is also a pioneering entrepreneur who has taken his decades of flight experience and launched not one, but two companies with global impact: Aero Servicios AC Corp and Volark LLC.
But what truly distinguishes Carlos is more than just business acumen. It’s his extraordinary ability to turn vision into momentum, and momentum into lasting change—especially in one of the most complex, competitive, and regulated industries in the world.
From Pilot to Pathfinder
When Carlos first stepped into aviation, it was with the hands of a pilot and the mind of an engineer. Over the years, those hands would steer a Gulfstream G100 across oceans, and that mind would craft aviation operations that met the highest international standards. But along the way, Carlos saw something many did not: a fragmented industry with immense opportunity for improvement—if only someone could bridge the gaps.
So, in 2022, he co-founded Aero Servicios AC Corp with his wife, launching a venture that would become more than just a service provider—it would become a catalyst for sustainable, efficient, and modernized private aviation.
Aero Servicios: The One-Stop Flight Plan
From its headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, Aero Servicios has grown into a full-spectrum aviation company offering aircraft management, pilot services, international trip support, aircraft maintenance representation, spare parts logistics, and sustainability consulting. And under Carlos’s leadership, it quickly became known not only for its operational excellence but for its forward-thinking approach to green aviation.
“We’re not just moving people anymore,” Carlos explains. “We’re moving the industry forward.”
That forward-thinking vision is most evident in Flight Plan Green, a proprietary initiative by Aero Servicios to incorporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), carbon offset programs, and optimized flight plans into everyday corporate aviation. The aim? Decarbonizing flight—without compromising service.
This isn’t just corporate fluff. Through partnerships with World Fuel Services and AEG Fuels, two of the most respected names in global fuel supply, Aero Servicios is actually putting clean energy solutions into practice. The company is facilitating SAF availability, training ground and air crews on green flight protocols, and even working on integrating digital monitoring tools to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
Few operators worldwide—especially private firms—can claim to be doing as much, as quickly.
Volark LLC: A Tactical Approach to Technical Support
In 2023, Carlos added another feather to his aviation cap by co-founding Volark LLC, a technical parts and aviation equipment company where he holds a 50% ownership stake. While Aero Servicios provides operational and strategic services, Volark ensures that operators can source critical aircraft parts, components, and accessories with precision and speed.
“Delays cost more than time in aviation,” Carlos says. “They cost trust. And that’s why Volark was created—to be the most reliable partner in technical supply chains.”
Operating at the intersection of logistics, engineering, and aviation regulation, Volark supports fleet operators, charter services, and maintenance teams around the globe. It’s not just a parts company—it’s a technical support system designed by someone who understands the stakes.
Redesigning Aviation from the Ground Up—Literally
Carlos’s entrepreneurial vision doesn’t end at boardrooms and runways. In the Philippines, he has been instrumental in shaping the future of business aviation infrastructure.
As aviation consultant and Chief Pilot to Pacifica Jets Inc. and Black Rock Aviation, Carlos led the creation of the first dedicated Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) terminal at Sangley Airport, a long-overdue development for the region’s growing luxury and corporate aviation market.
From floor plans to fuel logistics, Carlos was there every step of the way, integrating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient designs, and streamlined VIP protocols. The FBO now features lounges, private offices, pilot facilities, and flight planning zones—making it not just a service terminal, but a symbol of what business aviation can and should be.
An Ecosystem Built on Experience
Carlos’s credibility is not theoretical. It is deeply rooted in experience: 3,300 flight hours, an ATP license, and certifications across aircraft types including the G100, G200, Citation Excel, and CE500. He has operated flights across the Americas and Asia, trained flight crews, written safety manuals, and led aircraft acquisitions and sales.
But what elevates Carlos into the upper echelons of aviation leadership is how he takes all of that experience—and builds ecosystems around it.
Whether it’s helping a new charter operator acquire their first Gulfstream or guiding a government official on carbon offsetting programs for flight operations, Carlos shows up as more than a pilot. He is a strategist, an innovator, and—perhaps most importantly—a builder of futures.
Recognition from the Global Stage
The industry has not overlooked his contributions. Among his many honors:
- Congressman Michael Romero’s 2023 Recognition for excellence during the creation of Pacifica Jets’ charter division and sustainable flight implementation.
- An APPA Career Award in 2022 for his leadership, academic mentorship, and commitment to safe long-haul operations.
- AEG Fuels’ official partnership expansion into the Philippines—made possible in large part through Carlos’s vision and network.
- Recognition from Black Rock Aviation and Aero Perija for outstanding support in aircraft management, technical setup, and record-setting dispatch reliability.
- He is a respected member of organizations like the Latino Pilots Association (LPA), NBAA, and AOPA, demonstrating not just professional alignment but a commitment to mentorship and diversity within the industry.
A Flight Path to the Future
Carlos’s journey is far from over. In fact, as the world turns its attention to climate, resilience, and digital transformation, his work is becoming more relevant than ever. His companies are exploring advanced SAF blending pathways, blockchain applications for aviation logistics, and AI-enabled flight planning to further enhance sustainability and operational precision.
But despite the innovations, Carlos remains grounded in what matters most: safety, service, and stewardship. His commitment to ethical business practices, sustainable operations, and training the next generation of aviation professionals is a reminder that true leadership is measured not just in miles flown, but in futures shaped.
As he continues to pilot both planes and progress, Carlos Rodriguez is not just participating in the next chapter of aviation—he’s writing it.
