Entrepreneur Randy Garn on the Pandemic’s Ramifications on the Corporate World

There is no question: the economy has suffered in unprecedented ways as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on. As of right now, there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight, and the economic ramifications are as widespread as they are penetrating. It has been a difficult time for businesses and entrepreneurs globally, with entire countries struggling to lift their crippling economies. The ramifications of the pandemic are only just starting to make themselves known. Entrepreneur, speaker, and New York Times best-selling author, Randy Garn talks candidly about the ramifications of the pandemic on the corporate world.

“I think this pandemic has caused us all to realize the actual solitude we face in our individual lives. It has taught us how important it is for each of us to reach out and make connections with as many people as possible. As entrepreneurs and businesspeople, it is now more important than ever to not think of yourself as an island because you aren’t one,” says Garn. According to him, the pandemic appears to have become a catalyst where individuals have had to confront their both individual and business-related solitude.

Since many of the available methods for making money were under strict lockdown, the businesspeople of the world had to come up with alternate methods to generate. It become quickly apparent that working together (while apart) was the best way to overcome this situation. “Moving forward, I predict that we will have to depend on each other for the success of our businesses because working alone has proven to be a disaster,” adds Garn.

He continues, “the lockdown in 2020 has taught us to adapt to the situation at hand. Making contacts, forging relationships, building a budding profile of individuals and connections, and following with potential clients has proven to be a good way to ensure a confident flow of money.” As an entrepreneur and business coach, he has been teaching his clients the very same thing. In the past, he has founded or partnered with several companies like Prosper, Hero Partners, and others. Apart from being a New York Times Bestselling Author, and one of the Top 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurs in the US, Garn also coaches potential entrepreneurs.

Randy Garn believes that it is more important now than ever before to collaborate since we don’t live in a world where we can make it on our own.
