Have you ever wanted to do the barrel roll on your phone? Well, now Google has made it possible with their new “Barrel Roll Trick”. Type in any search engine and watch as they make an iPhone-like flip. It even works if you type Z or R twice!

The trick is an homage to a 1997 Nintendo Game, Star Fox 64. In this game, Peppy tells Fox McCloud “do-a barrel roll!” which you make him do by pressing ‘z’ or ‘r’ twice and watch below for his iconic phrase in action!

The “do a barrel roll” query was created by Google software engineer with the goal of entertaining users and highlighting CSS3, which is currently supported in modern browsers.
