Social media has presented an opportunity for entrepreneurs around the world to quickly build a brand and connect with paying clients around the world. The problem is that not everyone is who they seem to be. In a world full of filters and photoshop, it’s easy to hide your true face. The rise of technology has enabled many people to hide who they really are by pretending to be someone else. The same has gone for entrepreneurs and businesses. Jeffrey Krammer, founder of the Distinguished Agency and The Amazon Group, is the perfect example of someone who has used social media to manipulate and scam the people who have paid him.
Distinguished Agency is a digital marketing agency that has branded itself with the “intention of helping clients distinguish their brand from the rest.” Founded by Jeff Krammer, a South Floridian so-called philanthropist, Distinguished Agency had built a reputation as the go-to agency for companies and individuals looking to build their online presence. The problem is that they don’t.
Unkept Promises
Krammer has made many big claims about his business. Over the last year, he has raked in over $250,000 from clients who were expecting him to make good on his claims. Whether follower growth, PR services, or other social media related consulting services, he has proven that his word means nothing. Several of his clients have complained that not only did he not keep his promises, he also has not made any attempt to make it up to them. One client we were able to reach shared his frustration. “He does not communicate, declines to provide facts or proof of his work, and makes no effort to pay us back.” If this happened once or twice, it wouldn’t be ideal, but it could be understandable as a mistake, but to hold on to well over $250,000 without performing the promised service–well, that just isn’t good business.
Is It a Family Affair?
A quick google search shows you that Jeff is not the only Krammer involved in his company. Pamela Krammer and Michael Krammer are listed as his partners. While it is unclear that they are involved in Jeff Krammers scamming ways, it does raise a few questions. Is scamming a family business? Are they unaware of their relative’s actions? Why haven’t they reached out to him? Whether they are involved or not, the Krammer name is unfortunately a red flag for anyone looking to work with an honest entrepreneur.
Always Look Twice
Jeff Krammer has taken a lot of time to build his online image. All of his photos show him smiling and looking trustworthy. His site is filled with countless news articles and good reviews, but it’s all a facade. Before you buy anything from Krammer or his companies (The Amazon Group and Distinguished Agency), stop. Don’t fall for the big smile and the fancy ads–it’s one big scam. Here is a link to his website and Instagram so you know what to avoid.
